Press Conference: 9/11 Families on Landmark Ruling Allowing Case Against Saudi Arabia to Proceed

Terry Strada, National Chair of 9/11 Families United, and Brett Eagleson, President of 9/11 Justice, will hold a joint press conference on Wednesday to discuss a landmark ruling by Judge George B. Daniels of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Judge Daniels denied the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s motion to dismiss civil litigation against it, finding that the families presented credible evidence of Saudi government support for the 9/11 hijackers. He wrote that the total evidence shows a high probability of Saudi involvement.

This decision allows the litigation to move forward toward trial, marking another milestone in the families’ decades-long pursuit of truth and accountability.
